Rara & Dolpo Area Treks
Most of the treks in this region combine with flight because it is too long to trek up to High Mountain as there is no road to take bus. There are normally regular flights to Jumla, Simikot and Dolpo where the trek of Dolpo, Rara and Phoksundo start or end.
Most of the western Nepal is either outside the Monsoon's influence or in the rain shadow of Dhaulagiri Himal therefore summers tend to be drier here. The best time for trekking is from late August till September when the wild flowers are in bloom.
This area also offer high crossing passes, Superb mountain view, picturesque village, stunning turquoise water of phoksundo, deep forests & the tranquil beauty of RaRa lake, Bon-po monastery, impressive display of wild flower, an abundance of wild life, remote valley of Tarap with its Yak caravans and Tibetan heritage and of course friendly local people.
Lower Dolpo Trek

Lower Dolpo region is isolated high Himalayan valleys and known as transhimalaya, trek goes through Numala & Bagala pass, bone religion, Tibetan buddhist culture and monasteries. Maximum height 5318m.
Upper Dolpo Trek - Jumla To Jomsom

Trekking in transhimalaya, trek crosses more than eleven mountain passes, seven of them higher than 5,000 m., Bone religion, Buddhist culture & monasteries, Phoksundo Lake. Maximum height 5460m.
Upper Dolpo Trek - Juphal To Juphal
Days: 28 Grade:
Trekking through nice village like Do Tarap and Shey Gompa crossing through high and remote alpine area and passes take us to beautiful Shey Phoksundo Lake . Maximum height 5110m.

Lower Dolpo Short Trek

Trek from Juphal, after two small flights to Nepalgunj, trekking through nice village in the beginning and through high and remote alpine area and passes later and finally come to beautiful Shey Phoksundo Lake (3600m).
Rara Trek
Days: 16 Grade:
Rara trek lie in the western part, north-west of Kathmandu. The Rara region is made-up of long ridges covered with temperate forests and high valleys. Summer rainfall is low, but winter snow can be heavy and persistent.
